Great vibration reducer
I installed the turntable isolation platform and I am very pleased with the reduction in vibration transmitted to my turntable
We love it when simple ideas turn out to be effective. And that's what the Auralex ISO-Tone Turntable Isolation Platform is in a nutshell — simple and effective. Just place the ISO-Tone platform under your turntable, and this sound-absorbing sandwich of cloth-wrapped MDF and Auralex's proprietary sound isolation foam will protect it from unwanted vibration coming from the equipment rack, desktop, or DJ case it's resting on.
Why is that important? Because vibration that reaches your turntable diminishes its sound quality, and can even cause unwanted acoustic feedback. The ISO-Tone is specially designed to keep vibration at bay, ensuring you'll enjoy all of the focus, detail, and clarity your turntable is capable of.

I needed an affordable isolation platform that performs well and this did exactly that! Very solid piece that looks great under my Technics SL-1200!

Since my turntable is relatively close to my loudspeakers, it used to have feedback at higher volumes. It totally eliminated the feedback.
I just bought some Edifier S2000MKIII‘s and wanted to put my turntable on the same shelf. That was a mistake as these speakers can really kick out great sound. I bought the ISO-TONE pad to hopefully eliminate the audio degradation I was getting from excess vibrations. This platform is in no way a miracle worker. It didn’t work. I then moved the speakers to a different shelf on the unit and the platform still couldn’t keep a clean sound. I ended up having to move the turntable to another table entirely which may be obvious to vinyl enthusiasts but I’m a newbie. Just wanted the casuals out there to know that this platform doesn’t perform miracles. If your shelf is vibrating a lot then this platform won’t get you a clean sound. It does reduce vibrations from what I could feel so I’m sure it’ll be good if you need that little extra stability for a clean sound.
Night and day difference right away!! Would highly recommend
