Warranty

Auralex Acoustics, Inc. (“Auralex”) warrants to the original purchaser (“you”) that Auralex’s products will perform to published specifications and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal application, installation, use and service conditions for a period of ninety (90) days* from the date of purchase. Upon the return of defective product or component prior to the expiration of the warranty period, Auralex will, at its option, repair the defective product or component or replace it with a comparable product or component. Description

Studiofoam® Royale™ is the first in a product line Auralex Acoustics is developing under the WaveCave™ family. The panels are engineered using a patent-pending design that combines Studiofoam and an air gap to develop a highly-efficient absorber that performs nearly as effectively as fiberglass. The products are also designed to be used in various geometric patterns to craft a unique look and style. Studiofoam Royale with WaveCave technology comes in three colors: charcoal, burgundy and purple. This cut comes in a 2" thickness, and all options have a 1.05 NRC rating.

    Sound Attenuation Goodness

    Ingenious but simple concept. The raised center adds the air pocket that sound attenuation loves. Makes a difference!

    WaveCave Royale

    The new WaveCave Royale from Auralex has made a huge difference in the clarity of the music in my listening room. Now I can understand almost every word in the lyrics. The harshness with some songs is gone, and so I can turn up the music a few decibels to the point that it comes alive without fatigue. Sibilance in vocals sounds more natural, too. I feel like I just got new audio equipment, like a more expensive DAC. I expected a more modest change, but what I am hearing is a substantial improvement. All this from using just four of the 12-inch by 24-inch WaveCave Royale foam panels behind my speakers.
